6 Must-See NYC Holiday Hotspots

December 1, 2016

New York City is a big place. In order to experience it to the fullest this holiday season, check out these 6 locations to put you in the holiday cheer in NYC.

Rockefeller Center is the center of attention in New York City during the holidays. Between the beautiful lights, the humongous tree, and the ice skating rink; it’s hard to visit the city during December and not go there. Visit the “Top of the Rock” observation deck for a sky high view of NYC and central park, right in the center of it all. Plus, enjoy tons of shopping in the area.

Times Square is buzzing in December. The hub of celebration for the New Year, and a great place to shop, Times Square brightly lights up the night with billboards and screens.

In between Times Square and Rockefeller Center sits the Radio City Music Hall. Brightly lit with colored lights and decorations, the iconic hall hosts their Christmas Spectacular every year. The Radio City Music Hall Rockettes perform the amazing show until January 2nd, so make sure you get tickets for when you are visiting.

Take the kids to see Santa at Macy’s Santaland. Kids of ages will love the winter wonderland created there, sure to put anyone in the holiday mood. Take pictures with Santa and explore the 10 floors of the incredibly large department store.

Central Park is a great place to visit. The ice skating rink is usually less crowded than the one in Rockefeller Center. The park is the perfect place for a ride in a horse-drawn carriage, or for kids to play in the snow once it falls.
