You’re never too far away from a pretzel cart in New York and that is why we are starting off this list with a classic. The New York pretzel is a solid choice for those looking for a salty snack that can be eaten on the move.

2. The Halal Guys

The Halal Guys serve up a range of traditional Halal food, from simple chicken and rice to lamb gyros.

8. The Union Square Juice Cart

Selling freshly blended fruit juices for half the price of the big organic shops, if you’re on Broadway be sure to check it out.

9. NY Hot Dogs (Sabrett)

There are plenty of hot dog carts to choose from but Sabrett Hot Dogs are the real deal.

The owner of this cart, Thiru, prepares vegetarian crepes that make for the perfect light bite.
