The City After the Holidays

December 22, 2016

After the holiday season, unwind in New York City. See the sights and sounds of the city that never sleeps, in the beginning of the new year. Most of the holiday decorations will be gone by January 5th, but you can still go ice skating in central park, tour the city with us, and get some shopping done during the after-holiday sales. Hotel Week NYC takes place from January 6th to the 15th, where hotels across the city lower prices drastically. Expect to find great deals on some of the higher-end hotel rooms.

Enjoy a spectacular day exploring downtown Manhattan. Start off with a City Tales Tour, and see the city. Our downtown tour ends at the World Trade Center, so head across the street and shop at the Oculus Mall. Drop your bags off at the hotel and catch a Broadway play. There are over 20 shows to choose from, for more information and ticket booking visit broadway.com.

For the kids, Disney on Ice comes to NYC in January; and the last day for the holiday train show is the 16th. Check out some of the many museums that the city has to offer. There are over 20 that are free every day, so be sure to put a few on your schedule while you are here.

When you visit New York City, see it with our experienced tour guides. We will make sure your group experiences all the fun and excitement that New York City has to offer. With City Tales Tours, you can see the sights and sounds of the Big Apple, the way you were meant to see them.
